Monmouth College Literary Arts Festival

The Monmouth College Literary Arts Festival offers current high school students the opportunity to experience a day of literary engagement. You will get to workshop your own creative writing with experienced workshop leaders—helping you generate and refine poems and stories. You will also get to experience a literary escape room and a literary scavenger hunt. 

We will also celebrate the literary arts through the work of acclaimed fiction writer Jack Wang, author of We Two Alone. He will read from his work and will be available for conversation.  

At the end of the day, you will be invited to share your own writing at an open mic, where you will also get to hear work from current Monmouth College student writers.  

Campus tours, conversations with Admission representatives and resources for high school teachers will also be available.
